BACKPAINTED GLASS

Kitchen Backsplashes

One of the most common uses for backpainted glass is in kitchen backsplashes. Large expanses of glass are custom cut to fit from counter to cabinet, wall to wall, even behind range hoods and between open shelving. Butted panels with silicone seams mean no ugly grout lines that become stained over time. In fact cleanup is a breeze – spaghetti night cleanup just got a whole lot easier!

Accent Walls

Maybe your space needs a light and bright pop of color that doubles as a white board. What about a kid’s creative space? Even shower walls are a great place to use backpainted glass.

What colors can I choose from?
Anything! Choose your favorite paint color or match an existing wall. The paint will be blended to match “as seen through the glass”.

Is it tough enough for my kitchen?
This paint is used worldwide as part of the facade of high-rise buildings. If it can handle direct sun on a summer day in Dubai, it can handle your kitchen.

Is this different from ordinary paint?
Yes! We use a silica based paint that is specially formulated for glass and install with adhesive that won’t react to the paint and show through over time.
